mythtv frontend problem

Hi All

When I try and start my myth frontend I currently get this:
$ mythfrontend
mythfrontend: error while loading shared libraries: libva-0.31.0.6.so.1:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Any ideas please, googling returns little information on this library.
