I tripped over the issue with 11.8.8 at the weekend and downgraded
mariadb back to 11.8.6. Looks like I just missed seeing 11.8.9.
My earliest opportunity to try an update will likely be on Sunday.
Do you happen to know which component is relevant to MythTV, the server
itself, the client or libmariadb? (no worries if not, I'll read the bug
properly and try various
